From a class of 1,100+, we've got memorial list of 25. The whole committee has been touched as we've discovered names of our fellow classmates no longer with us ...<br /><br />But, it's a different category of 'lost' that I'm really referring to today.<br /><br />It's the people we can't find. Only a 45 minute set 10 to 20 songs (remember they were much shorter then), starting at about 10:00PM<br />I will bring the back line (PA system, Bass and Guitar amps) - you ________ (fill in the blank) bring your axe and we can swap out players every couple of songs.<br /><br />I have had some communication with others from our class and I believe we have drum kit courtesy of Brad Diekman (who I have the good fortune of being in a band with today) as well as John Barnwell (guitar), Lieb Ostrow (guitar) and if we can locate a keyboard . . Mike Diebler, or as the year book had it Mike Dieble - all but Leib were part of <span style="font-weight: bold;">'The Sleepless Knights'</span>.<br /><br />So who else? I've asked Howard Meyerson who was the lead singer for 'The Hardbound Edition', but he doesn't know if he can make it and doesn't think he has the chops (?) Come'on Howard just scream! I've yet to contact others who I had the pleasure of playing with . . Rick Flusty, Rick Ellison, Dave Harrison, Frank Potestio, Barry Goldman and Greg Smith (try and Google that name . . sheesh), but I know there were countless others, Niel Skinner and Steve Papp had a band . . . as I cruse through the yearbook I seem to remember more, but just can't remember for sure.<br /><br />I've been mulling over set lists - Little Latin Lupe Lu, Last Time, Gloria, Hey Little Girl - yeah, I know these pre-date '69, but they're all easy to play and at least they're from the era. Got song suggestions?
